Post Production Automotive Technician
Pembleton Motor Company are a small but growing business based in the village of Bayton, Worcestershire.
Handcrafting new, vintage inspired sports cars since 1999, the company is looking to take on a new member of staff to add to our small but friendly team.
We have a vacancy available in the part time job role of a Post-production Technician. It is a very exciting role within the operation of the business and will focus on a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

Servicing of vehicles (experience essential)

Pre-delivery inspections
Experience in these areas is essential where listed. Training will however be provided regardless.
There will also be potential involvement in the following areas of which experience is a benefit but not essential:

Vehicle transportation

Pre-test inspections
-
Servicing management inc invoicing/ booking in service dates

Part management
-
Aftersales/ warranty
-
Assisting on the production line
-
Parts collection
Skill/ Qualifications
-
Servicing knowledge/ background
-
Strong mechanical knowledge
-
Towing Licence (preferable)
-
Towing experience (preferable)
As with many small businesses, there will be other tasks outside of the ones listed above that are important in the day to day running, such as maintaining the workshop cleanliness, and assisting in other areas where required.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic, practical and self-motivated, a driven individual who takes pride in their work and works well within a team. It is essential to be organised, reliable and have good multi-tasking skills.
Our vehicles require a huge amount of attention to detail so it is important that the successful applicant can work to these high standards.
We will offer training to help ensure a smooth transition into the job and it is vital that the applicant is a good listener and is willing to learn, regardless of their experience.

As previously mentioned, a strong mechanical or engineering background, and previous involvement with servicing and trailering is essential.
The role will be on a part time basis, but could develop into increased hours/ a full time role in the future. The successful applicant will be required to be flexible to fit in with our timetables, due to the part time nature of the role. The amount of hours per week will be based upon experience and qualification. Towing experience will increase these hours.
