For us, deciding between whether we prefer a Pembleton T24 or V-Sport is a bit like choosing a favourite child, it's impossible. So instead of comparing each of them like for like, I'll look to highlight some features that may help you chose the one that most fits you and your lifestyle.
Now if you've made it this far, I'm guessing you like classic styled, hand-built, bespoke cars with modern performance and are after something a bit unique. Well fortunately for you, both the V-sport three-wheeler and T24 roadster fit the bill, so which one to have?
Our brand ethos puts lightweight at the forefront of our design process, distilling each car down to a pure driving machine. Dynamically each car is very comparable, damped for a compliant and comfortable ride, light and responsive steering with sharp progressive braking means both models are fantastic drivers cars that are very useable on the road. But a few features separate their character, so let's delve a little further.
Now it shouldn't come as a surprise that the addition of two wheels (a fourth road wheel and a spare) makes the T24 a little heavier than it's three-wheeled counterpart. This makes the V-Sport a little nippier and more responsive on the throttle, the result is a playful dynamic that personifies what driving a Pembleton is all about, the fun of driving. This driving characteristic coupled with the unique styling of only having three wheels makes the V-Sport a lively, high-spirited car guaranteed to put a smile on the face of both the occupants and anyone who may see/hear you coming. It offers the essence of the motorcycle with the spirit and predictability of the car, the V-Sport is a truly joyful machine .
The additional weight of the T24 doesn't diminish any of the characteristics that make Pembletons so great, but it does offer a slightly different package. Without a third wheel tucked into the hand-formed aluminium body work, there's more room for luggage in the back of the T24; 200L behind the seats and a further 13L in the glovebox means there is enough storage for a couple of weekend bags as well as a larger capacity 33L fuel tank. This and the addition of a spare wheel makes the T24 perfect for longer road trips and touring. The extra wheel isn't purely the addition of mass, it offers greater control and adjustment of your damping, with fully independent & adjustable suspension (which you'll also find on the V-Sport), you're able to tailor the damping of each wheel to your exacting preference for increased stability, compliance and performance on the road.

The fact the T24 is a little more suited to touring and the V-Sport is a bit more playful isn't to suggest that the T24 isn't playful and the V-Sport can't be toured, both cars are joyous and both cars can be practical, what binds them is our unwavering commitment to design and hand-build the finest brand-new vintage cars we can.
Fundamentally some people just instinctively prefer one over the other; the vintage charm of the T24 over the more playful aura of the V-sport, or perhaps they just think that three wheels is enough and that a fourth is ludicrous and surplus to requirements. Whatever the reason, often first instinct and appearance is enough, but for the rest of us, well you'll just have to come and decide for yourself....
